Fayre success for Teignmouth Friends group
The proceeds have been totted up and the Easter Fayre organised by the Teignmouth Friends of FORCE groups has raised £2,046. The event was held at the Methodist Church Hall in Northumberland Place. There was a great variety of items on sale plus refreshments and plenty of homemade cakes. The total raised included a generous £750 donation from Barclays Bank. FORCE needs to raise around £1m each year to maintain its services. Friends of FORCE groups play a significant part in raising awareness of the charity’s work and bringing in much-needed funds. Last year alone groups around Devon raised more than £59,000.
