• The FORCE Cancer Support and Information Centre is OPEN, 9:30am to 4:30pm weekdays, no appointment needed.

Outreach

FORCE is committed to taking support into the wider community, mirroring many of the services available at our Exeter Support and Information Centre.

Sadly, the COVID-19 pandemic forced an immediate halt to the provision of services in our outreach locations.

However, we remain determined to support people affected by cancer closer to where they live.

We are currently examining ways to rebuild our programme of support in locations outside Exeter.

And we are also working on how we can fund these services, so important to communities across Devon.

We will provide regular updates on our outreach programme so please keep checking our website.

FORCE has maintained specialist physiotherapy clinics which feed into exercise programmes in Exeter, Exminster, Tiverton, Okehampton, Crediton, Cullompton, Axminster, Ottery St Mary, Seaton, Exmouth, Honiton and Barnstaple.

We have also funded the delivery of certain chemotherapy treatments at the hospitals in our outreach support hubs.

We paid for specialist nurses from the Cherrybrook chemotherapy unit at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital to administer treatment to patients, saving them the journey to Exeter.
