We're here to help you get started

Many people organise events to raise funds for FORCE, which is just fabulous and hugely appreciated. Whatever you put on, you’ll be helping to improve the lives of local cancer patients, their families and carers.

Why not give us a call to discuss what you have in mind. We can help where appropriate and share our experience and resources with you.

Call Naomi, Kay, Olly or Sarah on 01392 402875.

Whether you are planning to fundraise alone, with friends or family, at school, at work or with a group, getting started can feel a little daunting, so we have prepared this page to ensure you have a lot of fun, stay safe, keep it within current government safety guidelines and keep it legal!

Online fundraising platforms

So many people now have access to the internet, whether that be on their phone, at home or at work. Setting up an online sponsorship account is easy
to do with instant results. FORCE Cancer Charity is linked with Virgin Money Giving and Just Giving –  online fundraising platforms to enable supporters to raise sponsorship in just one place. With a handful of words and a picture or two, you’ll soon be up and running. It’s easy to link your personal online sponsorship account to email, Facebook and Twitter.

Special Occasions

We are so grateful to everyone who thinks of FORCE Cancer Charity when they are celebrating their own special event whether that be a birthday, anniversary or wedding day.

FORCE can provide balloons, banners, Gift Aid envelopes and literature on request.

If you would like somebody from the charity at your event we will need plenty of notice and we apologise that we can not always attend due to other commitments.

Do call the fundraising team to discuss your special event.

How to pay your event, sponsorship or donation monies to us

If you raised sponsorship or made a donation via Virgin Money Giving or Just Giving, you don’t need to do anything as this is automatically sent to FORCE.

If you used our sponsorship form, please return it to FORCE Cancer Charity, Corner House, Barrack Road, Exeter EX2 5DW with a cheque made payable to FORCE Cancer Charity.

Unfortunately, due to current restrictions we are unable to receive donations in person at this time, but we will update this page as soon as this situation changes.

If you pay money directly into our bank account, please email or call us so that we can make sure that we have got all the necessary details to be able to thank you properly – i.e. your contact details and (if applicable) a Gift Aid form, so that we can claim an extra 25% on top of your donation (at no extra cost to you).

Please email forcefr@forcecancercharity.co.uk or phone 01392 402875.

Thank you.
