No kidding – become a FORCE shop volunteer

New Year, new you, new challenge?

Could you be a star in your own Toy Story by helping out in the children’s room at FORCE Cancer Charity’s shop in Heavitree?

We are looking for new volunteers throughout the store, including the section dedicated to toys and games.

Our supporters are so generous with the things they donate – board games, stuffed animals, dolls, puzzles, models, books and the rest – and we need to process them properly.

Checking that donations are safe, clean and ready to be cherished by a new owner is a vital role.

So those hours of tidying toys for your children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and favourite little friends could come in handy.

It’s child’s play

And don’t worry about your availability – volunteering for FORCE is child’s play.

Just let us know when you have time to spare and we’ll find a slot for you.

If you have a morning or afternoon or a couple of hours free per week, we are looking for starters as soon as possible.

Maybe you are available for a month or you’re free only over the winter, just in spring, solely in summer or exclusively in autumn.

Or perhaps you’d like to help out but can’t commit on a regular basis.

Whenever you’re free, you’ll get a warm welcome into a fantastic team that prides itself on making a real difference to the community.

If you’re toying with the idea of becoming a volunteer, call into the shop in Heavitree Fore Street for a chat with manager Anna Heard for more information or email shop@forcecancercharity.co.uk
