Knockout day at Powderham
What a fantastic day!
Our It’s A Knockout event on a gloriously sunny day at Powderham Castle was a huge success.
A total of 72 teams of 10 took part in some amazing fancy dress costumes.
They tackled 12 obstacles over the course of the day, many of them involving giant inflatables, water and foamy bubbles.
Teams were awarded points for their performance as well as the amount of money raised for FORCE from sponsorship.
The overall champions were The PE Warriors from St Peter’s School in Exeter but everyone who took part was a winner.
FORCE Head of Fundraising Sarah Daniels said: “Knock Out was far better than we could have imagined. Everybody embraced the event and the array of fancy dress costumes was superb. The atmosphere was brilliant, the weather perfect and fun flowed! Thank you so much to all the participant and sponsors who made the a hugely successful inaugural event. We cannot wait for next year.”
