How to donate

How to donate

You can drop off goods at our donation bay at the side gate to the Shop from 10:30am to 11:30am Monday to Saturday.

Please note this is a maximum of four bags or boxes currently as we cope with the demand. If you would like to drop off more than the current maximum number of bags, then please ring the shop on 01392 271652 in advance to organise a suitable date and time.

Please don’t leave items outside the Shop when we’re closed.

Unfortunately we cannot routinely offer a collection service. Please get in touch if you have an item or items that you are unable to bring in yourself. Call us on 01392 271652 for details.

As well as sales in the Shop, we can raise vital funds by selling old clothes and shoes for recycling. If you have clean clothing that you thought was too worn out for us to sell, just label the bag as rag.

Please Gift Aid your donated items if you can. As a UK taxpayer you can help us claim an extra 25 pence from Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs for every £1 you help to raise. Simply sign up for Gift Aid when you take your items to our Shop. Please ask a member of our team for details when you arrive.

Collection and delivery

A small charge applies for deliveries depending on the size of the item and the delivery location.
If you buy a large item from the Shop you would like delivered, please talk to a member of staff in store. Local delivery charge is normally £5 but we can organise delivery to other areas for an extra fee. Please note – the drivers can only deliver to the ground floor of apartment blocks.
Before calling, please check the lists of goods we can’t accept and then give us a call to arrange a collection day on 01392 271652.
Why not consider organising a collection at work of items from other staff colleagues. If you have an easily accessible office location and a number of items for collection, we may be able to come to you with our FORCE Van. If not, why not drop the items off monthly at our Shop in Heavitree. For more information call Olly on 01392 406150.

We have a great many volunteering opportunities at the FORCE Shop, on the shop floor or behind the scenes. You can be as flexible as you like with the time you have available to volunteer. To join the team or get more information, call into the Shop for a chat with manager Anna Heard or email shop@forcecancercharity.co.uk. This short film explains more about the opportunities available.
