FORCE offers a friendly pre-loved wig service, supported by our wonderful team of trained volunteers.
We receive wig donations from across the UK. Each wig is carefully washed and conditioned by our volunteers, then photographed and catalogued so you can browse the available styles online.
We have a wide selection of pre-loved wigs in different colours and styles, offering an affordable alternative to buying a new wig.
We ask for a minimum donation of £30 per wig, with all donations helping to support FORCE Cancer Charity.
To make browsing a little easier, our wigs are grouped by colour. We recommend choosing up to six wigs that you would like to try. You might want to find a style similar to your usual hair, or perhaps try something completely different.
Please note that colours may look slightly different on screen and all wigs are subject to availability.
As you browse, make a note of the three-digit number for each wig you would like to try.
When you’re ready, select View product on one of your chosen wigs and complete the request form, adding all the three-digit wig numbers you have selected.
Once you have submitted your wig selection, we encourage you to use the link provided to book your fitting appointment.
If you need any help with your booking, a member of the team can contact you using the telephone number provided on your selection form.
Our Pre-Loved Wig team is available on Wednesdays.
Free fitting appointments take place at the FORCE Support and Information Centre. If it is more convenient for you, we can also arrange to visit you at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
Our fitting volunteers have received accredited wig-fitting training and can help you find a comfortable fit, make small adjustments where needed, and share useful tips on wearing and caring for your wig.
