About

During the pandemic Paul was stuck in front of a laptop all day as COVID-19 communication lead for adult social care. He has always drawn and, with his usual outlets of event promotion at Exeter Phoenix and broadcasting on Phonic FM suspended by the pandemic, he started sketching plants in his garden as a form of mindfulness which didn’t involve looking at screens.

His drawings proved popular on social media and fit well within The Glorious Art House cafe’s vibrant floral environment. As a DJ Paul also added an ambient soundtrack, with every track being one that he had listened to whilst drawing. The sketches are dedicated in memory of his Mum Florence who sadly died of cancer when she was 53 (Paul was just 23 at the time).

If you would like to see Paul’s sketches, then please head along to The Glorious Art House between the 1st and 13th February.

If you would like to make a donation in recognition of Paul’s work, then please head to Paul’s fundraising FORCE page
