Donating to FORCE

Help us build cancer support together!

One in two people will get cancer in their lifetime and more people now are experiencing a longer life expectancy following diagnosis.

We support anyone – patients and their families – affected by cancer in Exeter, East, Mid and West Devon. We are not part of the NHS and we are not regularly funded by the government or any other national body. We rely on the generosity of the communities we serve. You ensure that we can be here to offer a wide range of support in a non-clinical environment.

Our highly-skilled team offers individual and group support session, advice on keeping active, complementary therapies and guidance on claiming benefits – and providing equipment to improve diagnosis and treatment at the Royal Devon University Healthcare Trust in Exeter.

Help us make a difference to the people you care about – your family, friends, colleagues and neighbours – with a regular or one-off donation.

Thank you.

Gift Aid for Charities

Gift Aid for Charities

If something looks too good to be true, it probably is – unless it’s Gift Aid for charities!

Gift Aid is a government initiative that allows good causes to increase their income at no cost to themselves or their donors if they are UK taxpayers.

When you give a donation to FORCE and sign a Gift Aid Declaration, you allow us to claim the tax you have or will pay on that gift.

We get an extra 25p for every £1 you donate.

We have calculated that we could be missing out on as much as £30,000 every year in free money!

“Reclaiming Gift Aid on our income already has a significant impact on our finances but there is a huge potentiation to increase the value of the relief to FORCE,” said the charity’s Chief Finance Officer Julia Pitts.

If you are a UK tax payer and you are able to Gift Aid your gift, we would ask you to tick the appropriate boxes for online gifts or fill in one of our Gift Aid forms for gifts being posted or if you are arranging a donation through your bank. This means that we are able to make your gift go further by claiming 25p for every £1 you have donated. Imagine what a difference that could make and it doesn’t cost you a thing! So if you want your gift to go further, Gift Aid it!
