What is Race At Your Pace?

Whether you’re starting a new chapter or chasing your next milestone, it’s never been easier to stay motivated and active! Choose your challenge type, track your progress, and earn your medal – all at your own pace. It’s fitness on your terms!

This January, FORCE are teaming up with Race At Your Pace to bring you a virtual fitness challenge like no other! There are options available to all –

  • Sign yourself up to ease back into fitness or just to smash your own goals whilst contributing to the overall mileage set by FORCE within the app
  • Encourage people in your workplace to sign up and then make a super group within the app – you can then battle against each other or against other companies / FORCE
  • On sign up, you have the ability to choose a discipline that suits you, or choose multi-disciplinary if you love all types of sports

What is a virtual challenge?

A virtual challenge is a self-paced fitness goal you can complete from anywhere in the world. There’s no set location or start time – just choose your activity, set a distance, and work towards it throughout the calendar month. Walk, run, cycle, swim, or move in whatever way suits you, whenever it suits you!

Virtual challenges are ideal for all fitness levels and lifestyles. They’re designed to keep you motivated, help build healthy habits, and reward you for showing up – with medals, certificates, and a real sense of achievement. With our easy-to-use app and supportive community, it’s never been easier to stay on track!

What is Race At Your Pace?

How it works...

1. Sign Up!

Head to SIGN UP HERE to join #TeamFORCE. If you want to fundraise with your colleagues, friends or family, then send them the link too!

2. Choose your challenge

You can take part in whatever way suits you! Participants can complete the challenge through any form of exercise they enjoy, or, if you prefer, it can be focused on a specific activity such as steps only. Each person sets their own personal goal, while every mile, step, or activity also contributes to our group total.

3. How you log miles

Once the challenge is live on 12th January, you can start logging activity using the easy-to-use app or website.

Everyone takes part at their own pace, logging miles through the Race At Your Place platform using Apple Health, Fitbit, Strava, Garmin, or manual entry. Whether it’s a lunchtime walk, a gym session, or a weekend bike ride, it all counts!

The experience is flexible, inclusive, and designed to keep everyone engaged – no matter their fitness level.

4. Get involved in teams!

If you want to make a group within your work colleagues, friends or even your sport club, you can do this via the app. You can then battle against other people within your group, or go head-to-head with other groups such as #TeamFORCE

5. Log as many miles as possible

Every person who signs up will be contributing to a total goal of 2000 miles. 2000 people came through our doors over the year 24-25 and we want you to walk, jog, run, swim, step or skip your way towards that goal with us!

6. Get a beautiful bespoke FORCE medal

To congratulate you on completing your chosen miles and raising your £50 – you will be sent a beautiful bespoke FORCE medal to remind you of the incredible effort you put in through those cold months.

Your medal will also be engraved with the exact miles you cover over those 31 days.
