Well done Team FORCE at the Great West Run

Congratulations to every member of Team FORCE who took to the streets of Exeter for the 2025 Great West Run.

You did yourselves proud and you did FORCE proud too so thank you all.

There were nearly 700 of you making every step count in supporting local people dealing with cancer.

You have raised a staggering £188,000 so far and we know there’s more to come.

We’re having to pinch ourselves at the size of that number. It will make a significant difference in our support for thousands of people in our community whose lives have been turned upside down by a cancer diagnosis.

Amazing

£200,000 would fund FORCE’s Oncology Support Specialist Service for eight months, ensuring cancer patients and their families receive expert counselling, compassionate care and emotional support at a time when it matters most.

“It was an amazing day with so many incredible and inspiring stories from our runners and the people supporting them. We laughed, we cried, we cheered and we were left in awe of the commitment shown by so many people,” said Chloe Richardson from the FORCE fundraising team.

A big shout out also to all the FORCE volunteers, to Motion for supporting our runners with physio advice and post run massages and to City Runs and Hannah Brown for their expertise in preparing our runners for the big day.
