Silver ticket to £250 donation
FORCE has received a generous donation from a partnership between one of Exeter’s largest employers and a European road freight company.
Morrison Freight Ltd celebrated its 25th anniversary last year and to mark the occasion, sent its top 50 clients a silver ticket with a unique reference number. Each ticket went into a draw and four lucky winners were able to nominate a charity to receive £250.
FORCE was chosen by Stovax Heating Group, which has been associated with Morrison Freight, since 2001.
Presenting the cheque to FORCE Fundraising Manager Sarah Daniels, Lee Steward, managing director of the Ipswich-based company, said: “We are very pleased that Stovax chose to support such a worthwhile local charity.”
Ed Henry, Stovax Commercial Director, said: “Stovax was delighted to choose local FORCE Cancer Charity to receive the Silver Ticket cheque from Morrison Freight. FORCE does a huge amount for the local area and hopefully this will help them continue their great work.”
