Holcombe Rogus brunch proves great success
Well done to the team at at Holcombe Rogus for staging another highly successful Great Devon Brunch.
More than 100 people went along to the village hall for a choice of freshly cooked feasts including a full English breakfast, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, pancakes with maple syrup and kedgeree.
This was the third Great Devon Brunch organised by Sue Rowland and Mavis Seeley in aid of FORCE and Hospiscare and raised a total of £900.
Hospiscare volunteer Mavis and Sue, who volunteers at our outreach centre in Tiverton and helps with bucket collections at Exeter Chiefs, also had stalls selling homemade goodies like jams and cakes.
People were also encouraged to take along their unwanted bras for the Against Breast Cancer charity which sends them to developing countries across Africa.
