FORCE to offer longer opening hours
FORCE will be opening our Exeter centre for an extra 90 minutes a week for a trial period.
The FORCE Support and Information Centre in the grounds of the RD&E Hospital at Wonford is open every weekday, except Bank Holidays, from 9:30am until 4:30pm.
It will now open until 6pm on Tuesdays from July 2 until October 1.
FORCE Support Services Manager Alex Moseley explained: “We are excited to be offering an extended service as a trial to see if it is helpful and useful to our clients. One of our key aims is to make our service more accessible to the whole range of people who might need us.”
“Cancer clinics at the hospital start at 8.30am and finish at 5.30pm and we are aware that people might want to visit FORCE after their appointment. We will be working closely with the clinical teams to promote our extended Tuesday opening hours. People visiting our service at that time can expect a warm FORCE welcome and access to support and information.”
The Centre will be open for drop-ins in the late afternoon as well as appointments for groups and individual services like counselling and complementary therapies.
