FORCE super sale for recyclers
Crafters, creators and upcyclers alert!
The FORCE Cancer Charity shop in Heavitree is having a clearance sale that could be right up your street.
On Saturday August 13 the shop in Fore Street will be selling off fabrics that have been salvaged for reuse.
There will be a special stall with plenty of bargains, including textiles and bric-a-brac, set at 50p each or three items for £1.
“It’s all part of our ethos to cut waste and reduce, reuse and recycle,” said FORCE shop manager Anna Heard.
“We have set aside things that might otherwise go to waste or recycling due to our policy of rotating stock so that there’s always something new for our customers to buy.”
If the event proves popular it will likely be repeated so feedback from shoppers would be welcome.
The shop is open Monday to Saturday, 10:30am to 4:00pm, with every sale helping support local people affected by cancer.
