Congratulations Mark and Rachel

Huge congratulations and thanks to Mark and Rachel Stewart for supporting FORCE when they renewed the wedding vows at a party on campsite in Whimple.

Rachel tells us: “It was a lovely day surrounded by lots of family and friends who came from far and wide, including Mark’s father and a few friends who drove over from Northern Ireland.

“The idea was to bring back my love for May, which I haven’t enjoyed as much since my mum passed away in 2020, despite it being mine and my sister’s birthday.

“June is also reflective as it is nine years since my primary breast cancer diagnosis and four and a half years of living with metastatic breast cancer. But I currently feel like I am living with it very well.

“Later this year Mark and I will be celebrating 20 years of marriage. Mark has supported me every step of the way. So when he asked if I wanted to renew our vows, it was a great opportunity to gather family and friends, celebrating the good things in life. In lieu of presents we asked for donations to a couple of charities close to us. FORCE Cancer Charity has been with us every step of the way so was top of our list.”
