• The FORCE Support and Information Centre is open every weekday from 9:30am to 4:30pm (except Bank Holidays), no appointment needed.

In memoriam

Many patients, their families, friends and other supporters of FORCE Cancer Charity request that money is donated to FORCE rather than flowers at a funeral. This is a very personal choice and we give heartfelt thanks to families and friends for supporting us in this way.

Please call us if you would like to discuss further on 01392 402875.

Funeral collections

Funeral collections

The funeral director will look after all cash and cheques given by family and friends in memory. Normally there is a collection plate at the back of the church or crematorium. We would recommend that gifts are placed in envelopes and sealed.

We have suitable envelopes available from FORCE. These can also be used if you would like to Gift Aid your donation and we ask that any cheques are made payable to FORCE Cancer Charity. Cheques can be sent to the funeral director by those not able to attend the funeral service. Donations can take up to three months to reach the charity. A letter of acknowledgement is sent out to the next of kin at this point.

Cheques can also be sent straight to the FORCE Cancer Support Centre at our address: FORCE Cancer Charity, Corner House, Barrack Road, Exeter, Devon  EX2 5DW

Alternatively, if you would like to make a payment by BACS transfer please call our fundraising team on 01392 402875 or email donations@forcecancercharity.co.uk

In Memoriam online pages – who we work with

You can create an online page in memory of a relative or friend, collect donations for charity in place of flowers and allow fundraisers to raise money in remembrance.

We work with the three online platforms below. Their detailed step by step guides to setting up your online tribute page contain all the information you will need. You will be able to personalise your page, add pictures and send a link to family and friends to donate in memory.
