Schoolfriends reunite for FORCE
A group of friends who met at Exmouth Community College have taken on one of the country’s toughest challenge…
It is with massive regret that we have been forced to cancel Sunday’s Santa Cycle and Cruise.
Storm Bert is set to batter the South West this weekend and the threat of bad weather means we cannot guarantee you the fabulously festive experience that we’d all been looking forward to.
But don’t despair – we have a plan!
Our friends at Stuart Line Cruises have kindly offered us an alternative date – SUNDAY JANUARY 5TH 2025.
So, for the first time ever, the FORCE Santa Cycle and Cruise will be happening in the New Year.
Nothing else has changed but the date.
You’ll still get your Santa suits, goody bags, gifts for the children and of course, the fabulous feeling of riding the Exe Estuary Trail with dozens of other FORCE supporters plus an exclusive Exe Estuary cruise.
We do need to know by Thursday December 5th whether you will be able to join us on January 5th.
We’re really hoping that you can be a part of this unique event but if the new date doesn’t work for you, we’re happy for you to defer your entry to the Christmas 2025 event and we’ll let you have the date as soon as we can.
Starting and finishing at either Topsham or Exmouth, you will cycle six miles along the stunning Exe Estuary Trail.
At each finish point, riders will join a Stuart Line Cruises boat for a trip along the River Exe, back to the town where they started.
Spaces only available for Exmouth route, more info on the Exmouth route below.

Since the first Santa Cycle in 2013, the event has raised more than £35,000 for FORCE Cancer Charity which has helped us continue supporting local people affected by cancer.
Helen (pictured right) took on the Santa Cycle as a challenge to build up her confidence on a bike back in 2016 and since then has raised more than £1,600 for FORCE!
Helen and her family take part every year. For them our Santa Cycle is “an annual family event and it wouldn’t feel like Christmas without it!”
Anybody can take part in Santa Cycle and do their bit in helping to build cancer support right here in Devon.
Why not sign up and fundraise as a group or get the little ones a sponsorship form to take into school. Six miles is no easy challenge for little legs or someone who hasn’t cycled in a long time!
