No negatives with volunteering opportunity

Picture this! FORCE is on the lookout for new volunteers to share their camera skills.

Our shop in Heavitree needs people with time to focus on helping their local cancer charity.

Donated camera equipment needs someone checking it to ensure it’s in good working order, listing any faults and researching prices ready for sale in the shop or on EBay.

The charity also needs decent photographs to put its online shoppers in the picture on Facebook about items up for grabs.

If you know your way around an SLR, a compact camera or a decent digital, FORCE would love to hear from you.

You can develop the role to suit you. You may have a couple of hours to spare now and then, a morning or afternoon every week, be available just for a month or only in the winter.

Whatever time you have, get in touch and FORCE will endeavour to work around you.

Maybe you’re looking to get back into work or you’re coming up to retirement and want to use a bit of spare time in a worthwhile way or perhaps you fancy a bit of productive family time with a loved one who shares your passion.

If you get the picture, put FORCE in the frame to fill some of your available hours.

To join the FORCE team of volunteers or get a snapshot of the roles available, call into the shop in Heavitree Fore Street for a chat with Shop Manager Anna Heard.

Or you can click shop@forcecancercharity.consumedigital.co.uk to send us an email.

Don’t keep your talents in the dark(room) – this is a black and white opportunity to support your community and have fun doing it.
