Hands-on help needed at FORCE shop

Volunteering at the FORCE Cancer Charity shop in Heavitree offers a wide variety of opportunities to share your skills and learn new ones.

Out front or behind the scenes, we have something to suit almost every interest and we’re recruiting now.

Our backroom team deals with a multiplicity of merchandise – you never know what you’ll find among the donated goods that need sorting and preparing for sale.

Our generous supporters donate everything from fashion items to children’s toys. We get a fascinating range of bric-a-brac and unusual collectables that need carefully classifying.

Whether you’re a fashionista or a bookworm we are sure to find an area you’ll love.

And we’ll always do our best to fit in with your availability.

Whether you can sign up for a regular slot or a more occasional commitment, we can be flexible.

Win-win situation

The shop is open Monday to Saturday so just let us now when you’ve got some free time.

And why not sign up with a friend? You can catch up for a natter and make a real difference to people’s lives in your community at the same time.

It’s a win-win situation and we’ll keep you refreshed with tea and biscuits into the bargain.

FORCE offers free, face-to-face support for anyone locally affected by cancer and our shop helps to fund all the amazing work the charity does.

If you’d like to be a part of something special by joining our dedicated team of volunteers, call into the shop in Heavitree Fore Street for a chat with Shop Manager Anna Heard or email shop@forcecancercharity.co.uk
