Cycling Santas set to support FORCE

The Exe Estuary Trail between Topsham and Exmouth will again see a colourful convoy of Santas on bikes in the build-up to Christmas.

This year’s FORCE Cancer Charity Santa Cycle is on Saturday December 5 when 100 people with red suits and white beards will set out for the coast from Topsham Rugby Club and return by boat.

Naomi Cole from the FORCE fundraising team said: “The Christmas adverts have started now and we’re already looking forward to our Santa Cycle. This ever-popular event is already sold out and we’d like to take this opportunity to again thank Stuart Line Cruises and The Bike Shed for their ongoing support, as well as to welcome on-board Bradleys Estate Agents, who are generously providing sponsorship this year.

“It’s sure to be another fun-filled day, raising much-needed funds for your local cancer charity and we can’t wait to see all of our super cycling Santas – Santa Go Go GO!”

The ride starts at 9:30am and the cruise back up the estuary aboard the Pride of Exmouth leaves at 11am with hot drinks and mince pies on board.

Bradleys regional manager Darren Ellis said: “We are keen to support FORCE because it is a local charity which provides amazing support to those in need of it at a very hard time in their lives. We have supported FORCE for a number of years with various events and wish to continue doing so in the future as well.”
