Volunteering can be music to your ears

They want you. They want you. They want you as a new recruit.

A lyric from the 1979 Village People hit In the Navy AND a rallying call from FORCE Cancer Charity for volunteers to work in the music department at our shop in Heavitree.

If you’re well versed in pop, rock, blues, country, dance, jazz, opera, classical or anything in between and could spare some time, FORCE can find a role for you.

We receive hundreds of records and CDs from our generous supporters and we need to get them properly sorted and ready for sale in the shop or online.

And we can make sure we hit the right note when it comes to your availability.

The shop is open Monday to Saturday and there are volunteering opportunities up and down the scale.

Whether you’d like to come in on a regular basis, you have an occasional day free or you can offer a few hours now and then, just let us know.

Join our hit parade of helpers and do your bit towards FORCE’s mission to supporting anyone locally affected by cancer.

To find out more about the many volunteering opportunities available, call into the shop in Heavitree Fore Street for a chat with Shop Manager Anna Heard or email shop@forcecancercharity.co.uk

You’ll definitely receive a chorus of approval!
