The Great British Bike Ride

Land's End to Twickenham

27.08-01.09.2012

The Great British Bike Ride in 2012 will be staged from Land's End to Twickenham Stadium from Tuesday, August 28 to Saturday, September 1, 2012. The five day ride is designed for all cycling enthusiasts, sportsmen and women who want to take on a real challenge and at the same time raise some much appreciated funds for highly deserving charities.

Competitors competing in the five day ride will have all accommodation; facilities, food and support are provided within the entrance fee. The GBBR Team aim to take care of everything so that Riders can just concentrate on the event and enjoy the huge challenge ahead of them.

The 'overnight stops’ will be hosted by local rugby clubs and a tented village will be ready and waiting at the end of each day, with hot food, drinks and the hospitality only rugby clubs can offer. This exciting event is designed for all competitors to have fun; meet new friends and get a real sense of achievement by competing in and hopefully finishing, The Great British Bike Ride.

The 2012 event will be different charity wise as from the previous two years as you will need to enter through one of the benefitting charities – of which FORCE is one. You will have to pledge a raise a minimum of £1000 sponsorship which will need to be collected by the start of the ride in August. The cost of the ride is £500 which has to be paid upfront.
